September 2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auf <a href=\"https:\/\/bodeweb.de\/blog\/?s=Flores\">Flores<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/bodeweb.de\/indonesien_tauchen.htm\">Indonesien<\/a> gibt es immer noch Ziele, wo Besucher auf der Flucht vor Instagram-Touristen und chinesischen Reisegruppen auch heute noch ihr Gl\u00fcck finden k\u00f6nnen. Neben der K\u00fcstenregion im Osten von Maumere ist das auf jeden Fall auch Riung, ein kleiner, verschlafener K\u00fcstenort an der Nordk\u00fcste von Flores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=1lEHwsSCAqa6EOhe43WNiq025tOmG83-n\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach Riung kommt man nur mit dem Auto und \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, wobei der letzte Abschnitt der Reise zwischen Bajawa und Riung noch genau so schlecht ist wie vor 20 Jahren. Zu Beginn der Fahrt kann man noch einen Stopp bei den hei\u00dfen Quellen von Mangeruda einlegen, danach wird es dann aber ungem\u00fctlich. <br>Die Stra\u00dfe windet sich \u00fcber mehrere Bergz\u00fcge und ist \u00fcbers\u00e4t mit Schlagl\u00f6chern, manchmal muss ein Erdrutsch \u00fcberwunden werden und jedermann im Auto ist schlie\u00dflich froh, wenn nach etwa 3 Stunden Hoppelfahrt das Ziel erreicht ist.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"577\" src=\"https:\/\/bodeweb.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/flores_crossing_erdrutsch-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"Stra\u00dfenarbeiten am Flores Highway\" class=\"wp-image-4798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bodeweb.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/flores_crossing_erdrutsch-1024x577.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bodeweb.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/flores_crossing_erdrutsch-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bodeweb.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/flores_crossing_erdrutsch.jpg 1800w, https:\/\/bodeweb.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/flores_crossing_erdrutsch-300x169@2x.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Stra\u00dfenarbeiten am Flores Highway<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Riung<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Ort Riung (die Bezeichnung Stadt w\u00e4re ma\u00dflos \u00fcbertrieben) selbst ist wenig spektakul\u00e4r. Viele Geb\u00e4ude liegen in oder am Rand von alten Kokosplantagen und nur wenige staatliche Verwaltungsgeb\u00e4ude schaffen es bis \u00fcber die Wipfel der Kokospalmen hinaus. <br>Es gibt einige einfache Restaurants f\u00fcr die Einheimischen und ein paar Homestays, auf die sich die wenigen Touristen verteilen. Autoverkehr ist kaum vorhanden, so dass man locker auf der Stra\u00dfe bis zum Hafen laufen kann, wo an einem langen Steg einige Fischerboote und kleine Ausflugsboote f\u00fcr Ausfahrten zu den 17 Inseln (Pulau Tujuh Belas) liegen. <br>Ein vern\u00fcnftiges Hafenrestaurant fehlt und unsere Suche nach einem k\u00fchlen Bintang verlief ebenfalls ergebnislos, so dass wir erstmal zur\u00fcck zu unserer Unterkunft gingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unterk\u00fcnfte<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apropos Unterkunft: Wer Riung mit GoogleMaps erkundet, bekommt mittlerweile eine ganze Anzahl von Unterk\u00fcnften angezeigt. Empfehlenswert sind das Pondok SVD Riung, eine Unterkunft der katholischen Kirche (nach \u201eMissionaris\u201c fragen) und das Caf\u00e9 del Mar. Daneben gibt es weitere Homestays und ein neues Hotel (Hotel Bintang) auf die man ausweichen kann, wenn es in Riung einmal zu voll werden sollte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eine richtig gem\u00fctliche Strandunterkunft gibt es in Riung leider nicht. Auch das Caf\u00e9 del Mar liegt, anders als der Name vermuten l\u00e4sst, leider nicht am Meer. <br>Hier gibt es aber ein nettes, zweist\u00f6ckiges Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl an Fischgerichten. Alle Zimmer verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber Dusche und WC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Der Marinepark Pulau Tujuh Belas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Die 17 Inseln des Pulau Tujuh Belas Marineparks sind das eigentliche Ziel der Besucher von Riung. Wei\u00dfe Str\u00e4nde und sch\u00f6ne Korallen laden hier zum Schnorcheln und Baden ein. Wir haben uns mehrere Schnorchelpl\u00e4tze im Nationalpark angesehen. Die Korallen sind insgesamt in einem guten Zustand und man kann auch beim Schnorcheln eine gro\u00dfe Zahl der \u00fcblichen indonesischen Rifffische sehen. Wir waren insgesamt mehrere Stunden im Wasser und fanden es nur bedauerlich, dass es in Riung immer noch keine Tauchbasis gibt. \u00dcber unsere fr\u00fcheren Taucherlebnisse in Riung habe ich bereits an <a href=\"https:\/\/bodeweb.de\/flores_tauchen.htm\">anderer Stelle<\/a> berichtet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Rahmen der Schnorchelausfl\u00fcge wird meistens auch die riesige Kolonie von Flughunden auf der Insel Kalong (Kalong ist der malaysische Name f\u00fcr Flughund) besucht. Die Tiere schlafen tags\u00fcber in den Mangroven, die am Ufer der Insel wachsen. Die Flughunde erreichen eine Spannweite von bis zu 170 cm. Wenn man sich mit dem Boot n\u00e4hert steigen hunderte dieser gro\u00dfen Flugs\u00e4uger auf und geben ein beeindruckendes Schauspiel ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Schaut man genauer hin, sieht man auch Jungtiere, die vor der Sonne gesch\u00fctzt kopf\u00fcber unter der Flugmembran ihrer M\u00fctter h\u00e4ngen. Ihr lateinischer Name <em>Pteropus vampyrus<\/em> ist irref\u00fchrend. Hier gibt es ein Saumriff, das sich mehrere Kilometer weit erstreckt. Auf Pulau Rutong stehen einige einfache Unterst\u00e4nde und Sonnenschirme. Hier wird normalerweise die Mittagspause verbracht und das mitgebrachte Essen am Strand verzehrt.
